Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 it received a raving review from both music bloggers as well as from the media. The artist has already recorded two high-profile covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis in a commercial for Christmas from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. This brought her some attention. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding an attic piano and being fascinated by the sound it could produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to learn music for a love rather as a career. They advised her to compose. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favourite writers. When her mother informed her that her music could not only help her gain fame, however, they could also help others understand their value in the world and realize what can be done with them and her music, she was inspired to start playing in front of the public. The piano was first played by her when she was six years old and was writing her first song by the time she was nine. Family members didn't even have any idea about it until she was fourteen. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. She claims that she enjoys writing songs. According to her, music is the best means of communicating anything.
